Gameday Signs and Alabama, things are heating up. As for the signs we’ll have them all again this year. As for tossing more peanut oil on the Chick-fil-A Kickoff fire, F4H incited the masses with his post Why the Hokies Have to Beat Alabama. What started off as a insightful list, quickly degraded into a “we hate the SEC”, “RTR!” argument.
We guess this sign gets as much of a response as a “honk if you like fat chicks” bumper sticker. Never let our daughters go to Kentucky, never let our daughters go to Kentucky. Rich Brooks thinks soliciting women via signs is bullshit.
Coolers. Don’t take advice from the blowhard at your local Walmart, trust the experts at Block-C. Willy Mac outdoes Consumer Reports with his review. Also we just learned hovering over their blogroll links and pictures reveal the most hilarious tool-tips this side of Windows 95 Plus Ghetto Theme. Our cooler of choice, a frozen glass bottle containing chilled to the bone Jameson.
Stanford athletics is cutting budgets left and right, but Jim Harbaugh has a new private bathroom.
A “mega-donor” built Jim Harbaugh a private bathroom to “cut down on drag” – the old bathroom was down the hall and Harbaugh had to go up two floors to take a shower. Price tax on the new luxury bathroom: Between $50-75k. Outrage is palpable.
Football pays the bills. A more successful football program means better funded sports that no one cares about. If Harbaugh wants another new bathroom in a month tiled in these, you give it to him.
Matt Millen and Kirk Herbstreit endorse Rich Rod’s three QB plan. Well that has to make Michigan fans feel all warm and fuzzy inside. On the one hand you have Millen who while being all-time on the field proved to know very little off it. Then on the other you have Herbie, who deep down inside wants nothing but the worst for Michigan. H/T @herloyalsons
Is Huskers-Orange in the Dome on the horizon? There’s a little bit of on, and off the field history between the two programs. Syracuse holds a 7-5 lead in the series. With the Orange on the rise (yes we do think so) this could be a tasty appertizer for a future kickoff weekend.
