This Chinese woman has gone stir-crazy due to the lack of college football.

ESPN released its Thursday night schedule and the Big East is the biggest loser. The Doctor has all the details.

Charlie Weis will finally do what he’s being paid 3.70B Yen for, calling offensive plays.

Weis says it’s still up in the air whether he will call the plays from the field or up in the booth, like he did for the Hawaii game. Weis joked that his wife Maura would like to call from the booth, not because she’s concerned with his health but because she wants to win games.

But does it matter who calls the plays if Notre Dame can’t develop its talent? Or if his playbook looks like this?

Steven Threet will transfer, but to where is anyone’s guess.

“I have decided to transfer from the University of Michigan,” Threet wrote in the statement. “I have requested and received my release. I do not yet know where I will continue my collegiate career, and have no further comment until that decision is made.”

Threet was a highly coveted pro-style quarterback who committed to Georgia Tech in 2006. In 2007 he transferred to Michigan to compete with Ryan Mallet to be the next Michigan signal caller.  Mallet transferred to Arkansas after Rodriguez was hired leaving Threet to play in a offensive system he didn’t really fit. He split time with Nick Sheridan and his numbers weren’t great, but he had heart. With spread quarterbacks Tate Forcier and Denard Robinson enrolling at Michigan for 2009, it is better for his career that he transferred.
