I hereby designate Tim Tebow, Florida as my First Choice to receive the Heisman Memorial Trophy awarded to the most outstanding college football player in the United States for 2008. The inmates at the Gainesville Correctional Institute told me if I didn’t vote for Tebow my asshole would be in for a world of hurt. But seriously, why Tebow?  His versatility as a play maker has distinguished himself from the rest of college football quarterbacks more than any other player has at their position.  Tebow could do what Texas and Oklahoma ask of McCoy and Bradford, but they couldn’t do what Florida requires of Tebow.

Note: If you are continuing to read this because you want to read about all wonderful superlatives I wrote about your favorite Big 12 quarterback, stop now. Why should I waste a vote on a player who I feel isn’t the most outstanding at their position?

My Second Choice Is: Michael Crabtree, Texas Tech. Second in touchdown catches, first in mind blowing plays and legendary for pwning Texas.

My Third Choice Is: Shonn “Lion Slayer” Greene, Iowa. He saved everyone’s ass from having to watch Penn State get dominated in the National Championship Game.  He was the lone bright spot on an otherwise gloomy Iowa.  He rushed for 100 yards a game and without him the Hawkeyes don’t beat Purdue, Penn State or Michigan State.
