Not only does he escape competing with Texas and Oklahoma in the Big XII South, but his only competition in the Pac 10 is really USC (that is, until Carroll gets bored of winning Pac 10 titles). If he gets the Huskies to a Rose Bowl, he is a GOD in Seattle. Plus, it would be easy to park a replica pirate ship in Lake Washington near the western end zone.
