Oh No We Suck Again

Well we lost to Miami 16-14 and I am not even pissed. Normally Alcohol + VT loss = Extinction Level Event Anger. Tonight for some reason I am comfortably numb and just depressed. We left points on the field, our offense sucked a dong, we didn’t play with a sense of urgency in the fourth quarter (again), our line was poop, our running game was poop, we flip-flopped quarterbacks, we didn’t run the Wild Turkey and we lost. i wish i could pile on but i cant. how sad is it that weve gotten to this point under stinespring? where we expected what happened tonight? secretly, we all knew that the performance against maryland was a once-in-a-season event and miami would know exactly what was coming every down tonight.

just few of us were willing to admit it.

i cant even shit on vt, like you said. it was too expected. instead, ill just drink my maker’s mark and hope for an 8-4 season and a win over the ‘hoos.

if we lose to them, then ill go apeshit. until then, heres to rebuilding.

I am an SU fan. Counseling groups are besides themselves trying to keep us sane. I been there, I am there, etc. When you go into a game, pretty sure any good signs will be obliterated by the other team eventually it sucks. On top of that, the term “eventually” sometimes means 1st quarter. And, in a way, it is worse when it happens mid 4th quarter, because you hoped a bit here and there.
