Hook ‘Em Horns
Texas jumps to my number for two reasons. (1) I think Oklahoma is the second best team in the country and they beat them on a neutral field. (2) They’ve been winning more impressively than Alabama has.
Sooners
Oklahoma is the second best team in the country, but OMG they have a loss! If you want vanilla undefeated teams automatically ranked above teams with losses then look at the AP or Coaches Poll. Â Boomer Sooner has two quality wins against TCU and Kansas and are led by, in my opinion, the best QB in the country Sam Bradford. No one, not even Texas, was able to slow down their well oiled offensive machine and head to head they would stick it to both Alabama and Penn State.
Alabama
If the Tide have been playing to their competition against Kentucky and Ole Miss. Â Its hard to keep them at the top when Texas, Oklahoma and PSU are putting up gaudy stats each week. Â Bama may have the easiest path to perfection of the remaining undefeatedes.
| 10/25 | @Â Tennessee |
| 11/01 | Arkansas State |
| 11/08 | @ No. 13Â LSU |
| 11/15 | Mississippi State |
| 11/29 | Auburn |
Â
The only real tests left are @LSU and the SEC Championship game.
The Ohio State Suckeyes
I can’t believe I am going to say this, but the Terrelle Pryor led Buckeyes look damn good. Penn State @ Ohio State is the one Big Ten game I am salivating over this year.
Oklahoma State
They beat Baylor senseless and somehow dropped two spots? Well, both Georgia and tOSU beat ranked teams and the Cowboys close win over Mizzou looks a little less impressive this week.Â
TCU
The new #1 Non-BCS team, no one can argue that they don’t deserve it.
Mizzou
When you are down 35-0 in the first half 31 second half points isn’t a rally, but a byproduct of Texas taking their foot off the gas.
Virginia Tech
Thanks to their defense the Hokies played a close game against BC. Â That coupled with their win over GT made them my last team in.Â
