The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that both freshman Mike Golic Jr and Sophomore Will Yeatman were part of the 41 younguns arrested for underage drinking in South Bend on Sunday night.  The charge is only a misdemeanor, but it may be the end of Yeatman’s tenure with the Irish.

Yeatman, who was also the lacrosse team’s leading scorer in 2007, was arrested in January after driving drunk on a campus sidewalk. He pleaded guilty to drunken driving and reckless driving, although prosecutors agreed to dismiss the drunken-driving charge if he avoided more legal trouble for one year.

I wonder if sober driving on sidewalks at ND is okay… Everyone drinks in college, but if you are already on thin ice why wouldn’t you just lay low and do it in your own place without drawing attention to yourself?
