WSB is Atlanta is reporting Georgia Tech head coach Chan Gailey has been fired. Rambling Wreck fans must be jumping for joy. Over the last six years Gailey only won 1 division title (then lost in the conference championship game to Wake Forest) and never beat rival Georgia. Aside from the blank-faced sideline poses my fondest Chan Gailey moment was in 2005 when Georgia “Fake” Tech was able to knock off Miami and send Virginia Tech to the ACC title game. Gailey is the perfect example of an NFL head coach who never “got” the college game.

I think when got to Atlanta someone should have told him that this isnt the NFL and you can’t make the playoffs with 4-5 losses. The same goes for Dave Wannstedt.
