Game Balls Week 12

November 18th, 2007 · 1 Comment

Michigan - The Big Ten is officially a one team conference after Ohio State took another win over Michigan.  Lllloyd Carr is confirmed to retire at his Monday morning press conference and every headline should read, “Carr Retires, Tired of Tressel Putting it in His Ass”.  Henne and Hart could only put together 112 total yards in a season fueled by beating Ohio State.  Go Big Blue.

Miami - A text message I received on my phone during the game pretty much sums it all up, “remember when Miami was good?”  Damn, it has been a long time since Da U has been a respectable force in college football.  Minus two rushing yards is spectacular.

Kentucky - Rich Brooks thinks my game balls are bullshit! And I think Kentuckah Suckah again.  Georgia was able to control the clock and exploit the Kentucky defense on the ground for 184 yards on rout to victory.

Syracuse - The Orange suck.  They have been off my radar, because they suck so hard, but now it is definitely time to hate on their suckiness.  Since 2005 the once proud program is 7-26 under Greg Robinson with their wins coming against: Buffalo, Illinois, Miami Ohio, Wyoming, Connecticut, Louisville and Buffalo.  The only ranked team they beat is this year’s Louisville, who is now 5-6.

Penn State - Credit the Nittany Lions as the only team in college football that can lose a game when being +3 in turnovers. Watch out for Joe Pa this Monday Happy Valley campus commuters.

Miami tried to look like the Miami I remember during the second quarter….before though, and after that, the Hokies owned…

And as most people would expect, the big Buzz here in Morgantown is “we are going to the National Championship..if so and so, loses, and this team loses, and then all the planets align, and the football gods bestow their praise upon the Mountaineers..” so on and so forth….gotta hold on to the ball first I would say…
