The Next Nebraska Coach Part II

November 1st, 2007 · No Comments

CollegeGameBalls is continuing its investigation of who will be the next Nebraska Coach. As the regular season comes closer to an end, more pressure will be on crusty old fuck Tom Osborne to settle on some candidates. Today we give you two more.

Potential Candidate: Jerry Glanville

Overall Record: Unknown (ie not available on wikipedia)

Previous Head Coaching Experience: Houston Oilers, Atlanta Falcons, Portland State university (current)

Strengths: Likes dressing in all black and wearing a cowboy hat. Can game-plan and coach up a defense. Seems like a good ole boy who lives his life according to how his ball’s dictate it.

Weaknesses: Doesn’t have an eye for tallent (pushed for the trade of Brett Favre).

Fun Fact: Sent former coordinator June Jones a black rose after he replaced him as head coach of the Falcons. After much ass kissing and munching the relationship is once again whole as Jerry served as Jones’s defensive coordinator at Hawaii.

Potential Candidate: Dennis Franchione

Overall Record: 186-99-2

Previous Head Coaching Experience: New Mexico, TCU, Alabama, Texas A&M (current, but will be fired soon)

Strengths: Except at Texas A&M, Coach Fran can instantly turn a struggling program around. He can also see the potential of exploiting over zealous boosters for copious amounts of money.

Weaknesses: After leaving Alabama naval gazing, he seems to have shot his wad as head coach. His teams just don’t lose, they get blown the fuck out.

Favorite Rappers: LL Cool J and Tone Loc.
