Kentuckah Sucka

October 4th, 2007 · No Comments

Never again will I do the unthinkable and pick the Ball Coach to lose a winnable game. The Ball Coach doesn’t get upset, he upsets. With that said, this game was not what I expected. The only certainty I have after watching is how Saturday is now being referred to as “Gut Check Saturday”. Note to ESPN, if I wanted gay I would try to watch Mark May’s career ending game of shower grab ass on youtube.

The Kentucky offense looked sloppy on some plays and great on others. There was a big play here, a turnover for 6 there, 3rd and long conversion here 10 yard sack there. They just weren’t able to string together one great game of offensive football. USC was hands down the best defense they played all year, but I thought the Kentucky offense would be able to overcome them. All in all USC looked impressive. Smelley made some freshman mistakes, but he got the win and is only to get better. The defense is reliable and will keep them in every game. A rematch with LSU in the SEC Championship Game may be a reality. It will be interesting to see how Kentucky bounces back in the next couple of weeks with LSU and then Florida coming to town.

And… Just to be an asshole.
